The AOA Membership Challenge

greatness logo

A stronger membership base means a stronger and greater AOA!  By increasing the number of DOs who are members, the osteopathic professional family will grow in size, strength, and presence. We all play an important role in representing the AOA and the osteopathic profession. We are a unified profession, and together we can build an even stronger association.

The “AOA Membership Challenge” trial membership is an invitation to DOs who are not members of the AOA and have not been members since May 31, 2008. This trial membership is free of charge and valid through May 31, 2011. Click here to apply for a free trial membership or click here to learn about how you can invite your non-member colleagues to join.

Are you passionate about belonging to the AOA?

Do you urge your non-member colleagues to take advantage of the many benefits offered to AOA members?

Do you like to know the Top Ten Reasons to join the AOA? Put the power of the profession behind your practice with AOA membership:

  • Federal, state and international advocacy for the advancement and protection of DOs
  • Complimentary practice management assistance and advice on coding, billing, HIPPA, managed care contracts, and much more
  • Continuing Medical Education online reports and courses
  • Web technology through DO-Online
  • Insurance protection including PLI, medical and Medicare Supplement
  • Professional publications like the JAOA and The DO online magazine
  • Patient education materials
  • And much more

The AOA has achieved great things over the past 100 years and will continue to do so for the next 100. By increasing the number of DOs who are members, the osteopathic professional family will grow in size, strength and presence. Every practicing DO should experience belonging to the osteopathic professional family and experience the exclusive services and resources that come with AOA membership.

Members: Give the gift that gives back to you!

We could not have achieved such amazing goals without the participation of the entire profession. We continue to offer complimentary memberships to reach out to non-member DOs and help us reach the aggressive membership goals of the AOA Membership Challenge. Members are encouraged to refer their non-member DO colleagues to join the AOA by calling the Member Service Center to check their eligibility at (800) 621-1773, Option 1, e-mailing msc@osteopathic.org, or directing them to the online application found here. To thank you for your help, all members who recruit a non-member DO will be sent an AOA fleece blanket, while supplies last.

Non-members: Become an AOA Member Today!

If you would like access to the many benefits already being used by over 40,000 members of the osteopathic professional family, simply apply for a trial membership here or contact the AOA Member Service Center at (800) 621-1773, Option 1 or via e-mail at msc@osteopathic.org
