Where Can I Go for Help?

General Assistance

For general assistance, please contact the OGME Development Initiative at (800) 962-9008, ext. 0155 or (202) 414-0155, or send an email to OGMEDevelopment@osteopathic.org. 

OPTI Assistance

For services offered by the OPTIs, contact the Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institutions. View the full list of OPTI partners, including contact information. 

Specialty College Assistance

For assistance in starting a training program in a particular specialty, contact the OGME Development Initiative or the relevant osteopathic specialty college. The initiative’s corps of consultants includes specialty college representatives knowledgeable about starting new training programs in their specialty.

AODME Assistance

For the national membership organization of osteopathic medical educators, contact the Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators (AODME). Looking for a director of medical education or program director? You may want to consider placing a classified ad on the AODME website.

Predoctoral Education Assistance

For information about osteopathic predoctoral education (medical school), contact the Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine or their national association, the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.
