On Feb. 27, the AOA launched a public education campaign on fibromyalgia called “Living a Full Life with Fibro” in New York City. The launch started with AOA spokesperson Jennifer N. Caudle, DO, participating in a series of satellite interviews with more than 20 radio and television stations across the country to discuss the results of the AOA survey on fibromyalgia and the patient tools available on the AOA website.
EverydayHealth.com and American News Report already ran articles on the survey results. Dr. Caudle also met with health editors from Self, Whole Living and Good Housekeeping magazines and a producer from The Dr. Oz Show to discuss the fibromyalgia campaign and educate them on osteopathic medicine.
