Join Leg Two of the Osteopathic Family Road Trip

Summer is just around the corner, and the Are We There Yet? Osteopathic Family Road Trip is well under way. Thousands of AOA members participated in leg one of the road trip and learned more about how upcoming changes in Osteopathic Continuous Certification (OCC), CME reporting guidelines and the Physician Quality Reporting System will affect them.  Now it's time to gear up for leg two of the road trip, which focuses on the implementation of OCC.

Here's what you'll need to do to participate in leg two:

• Visit the Are We There Yet? website and answer a few short questions.

• Enter your name in the prize drawing for leg two.

• If you'd like a quick review session before tackling the questions, you can watch a video explaining the details of OCC.

• For an even more in-depth look at OCC, consider attending the AOA's free OCC webinar on May 30 at 7:30 p.m. EST. The webinar has been approved for one credit of AOA Category 1-A CME credit.

In order to be eligible for the prize drawing for a $300 Garmin Navigation System gift card, you must complete leg two by Aug. 10. Participants who complete all five legs of the osteopathic family road trip will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize: $1,000 in airline tickets.

Note that each previous leg of the trip will remain available during the entire campaign, so even if you miss the deadline and the prize drawing for one leg of the trip, it's worth taking the time to go back and complete it. You'll have a more thorough understanding of the upcoming changes affecting the osteopathic medical profession, plus you'll be eligible to participate in the drawing for the grand prize.
