  • Representation of member interests on AOA bureaus, councils and committees.

  • Free webinars on current trends, quality, patient safety, risk management, etc.

  • Member communications in the form of BOH e-alerts, which focus on current developments affecting hospitals.

  • Invitation to roundtables with industry leaders that prompt and provoke innovative thinking and lead to the development of whitepapers.

  • First release whitepapers on current topics through BOH roundtable forums.

Who can join the BOH?

All hospital and health systems, including osteopathic graduate medical education programs, are eligible for membership. To join the BOH, download, complete and submit the BOH Hospital Membership form.

How are BOH member facilities kept informed of BOH activities?

Each hospital may identify three staff members as primary contacts with the BOH. These individuals may include the CEO, Quality Director and Medical Education Director. Each delegate will receive information regarding all BOH services and activities throughout the year and are encouraged to forward BOH communications throughout their facility as appropriate. Primary contacts may also represent the hospital and cast votes on its behalf on such issues as nominations to and election of the BOH Executive Committee.
