Create Your Own Physician Practice Website

DoctorsOffice.net is available for you to create and maintain your own practice website for your patients and prospective patients. This is a free benefit of AOA/AOIA membership.

What are the benefits of creating a physician website?

  • Trusted resource from the AOA and AOIA

  • Media-rich patient education materials to attract your patients and draw them back to your site frequently

  • More control over the look and feel of your practice website with nine site design options

  • The content of your site will show up on Internet search results

  • A practice site will help you qualify as a patient-centered medical home

  • Improved HIPAA compliant features

  • Enhanced practice management tools will become available

Will my website appear in search results?

Yes, the DoctorsOffice.net address puts your practice front and center, separating it from the AOA website. This universal domain name is also appropriate for DOs who share a practice with MDs.

How do I get started?

Go to www.DoctorsOffice.net now, and click the Physician Login button in the upper, right corner to create your new username/password. This is where you will log in to create and maintain your website. Once you're logged in, click the Help link to download the Easy Start Guide, or start using the simple, fill-in-the-blank page templates.

Who is providing the DoctorsOffice.net website?

The American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) is offering this member practice website feature free to AOIA/AOA members and their practice associates.

Can I see a sample website?

Yes! You can see how a finished website would look by visiting www.yourhealthmatters.doctorsoffice.net

How does DoctorsOffice.net relate to the other AOA websites?

Osteopathic.org will continue to be the physician-oriented website for members and for informing the public about osteopathic medicine. DoctorsOffice.net contains a broader library of patient education, in addition to some unique osteopathic content, but the focus is on physician-patient relationship and not the AOA.

I used to have a DO-Online website. Is this the same?

If you had content on your DO-Online website, it has been moved over into the new template. The content will need editing, and there are more pages now for you to place information you would like visitors to have. Create a new login for DoctorsOffice.net, and log in to see your website.

This is a free benefit of your AOA/AOIA membership. As we continue to enhance DoctorsOffice.net, we would like to hear your ideas. If you need assistance or have questions about creating your site, please email crc@osteopathic.org.
