An AOA board-certified family physician, Dr. Burke serves as vice president of medical education at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He also is an associate professor of family medicine at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-COM) in Athens.
A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), Dr. Burke received the American Osteopathic Foundation's Distinguished Service Award in 2008 and the Family Physician of the Year Award from the Ohio State Society of the American College of Osteopathic Physicians in 2010. At the state level, he is a past president of the Ohio State Society of ACOFP and the Columbus Academy of Osteopathic Medicine.
After earning his osteopathic medical degree from OU-COM, Dr. Burke completed his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
