Joel B. Cooperman, DO
A board-certified osteopathic manipulative medicine specialist, Dr. Cooperman is a private practice physician at the Denver Osteopathic Center. In addition, he served as a preceptor for the Colorado Osteopathic Education Center.
Dr. Cooperman has served as a member of AOA House of Delegates for the past 20 years, and was elected to the AOA Board of Trustees in 1997. He is currently chair of the AOA Bureau of State Affiliate Concerns.
Upon earning his osteopathic medical degree from KCOM in 1975, he went on to complete an internship at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. In 1979, he became the director of manipulative medicine at Rocky Mountain Osteopathic Hospital in Denver. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colo.
