A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American College of Chest Physicians, Dr. Giaimo is an AOA-board certified osteopathic internal and pulmonary medicine physician in private practice in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. In addition to his work in pulmonology, Dr. Giaimo specializes in various forms of sleep medicine, including treatment of insomnia and hypersomnia.
Dr. Giaimo has been a member of the AOA’s House of Delegates since 2000 and has recently served as chair of the AOA’s Bureau of Communications. He is also a past president of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), and has served on FOMA’s executive committee for eight years.
After earning his osteopathic medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Giaimo completed a rotating internship at the former Metropolitan Hospital of Philadelphia and a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford.
