Amber A. Hull, an osteopathic medical student at the Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (MWU/AZCOM) in Glendale serves as the student representative on the AOA Board of Trustees. In this role, she also serves as chair of the Council of Student Affairs.
“I am honored by the opportunity to represent my fellow osteopathic medical students as a representative to the AOA Board of Trustees,” says Hull. “With more than 20,000 students across the country training to become osteopathic physicians, we are preparing to play an important role in the health care delivery system.”
Hull received her bachelor’s degree in integrative physiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. As a member of the MWU/AZCOM Class of 2014, she served as first vice president and treasurer of the Student Government Association.
In April 2013, Hull was named the National Student DO of the Year by the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.
Aside from her studies, Hull served as an intern for the U.S. Department of State’s Office of International Health and Biodefense and in 2012-2013, she served as the global health representative for the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents.
