The next meeting of the AOA Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at the O’Hare Hilton Hotel in Chicago.
Review of accreditation activities will begin Dec. 7 at 8 a.m. CST. At this time, the following accreditation items are on the agenda:

Ohio University - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Athens, Ohio) - additional location in Warrensville Heights, Ohio
Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (Stratford, N.J.)
University of New England - College of Osteopathic Medicine (Biddeford, Maine)
University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (Pikeville, Ky.)
The following substantive change request will be reviewed:
- Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Blacksburg, Va.) – branch campus in Auburn, Ala.
The following progress reports will be reviewed:
Georgia Campus – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Suwanee, Ga.)
Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (Lynchburg, Va.)
Ohio University – Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Athens, Ohio)
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine (Tulsa, Okla.)

Western University of Health Sciences / College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (Pomona, Calif.)
The COCA will review and discuss the commentary received on the proposed changes to the COCA Standards. The COCA will also consider nominations and re-appointments to the Consultants on College Accreditation listing, review site visit schedule for 2015 and review class size survey results.
Some of the agenda items may be eligible for third-party comments.
