​The change in reporting and regulatory requirements for physicians is significant and keeping up with these changes can be overwhelming. The AOA's Physician Services Speakers Bureau represents key staff who have the experience and expertise to provide education on how to navigate these changes.

Monica is responsible for building relationships with osteopathic physicians and payers to ensure payment for osteopathic medical services. She consults and educates payers, osteopathic physicians and the osteopathic community on payment, health care delivery and regulatory compliance.

Areas of expertise include payment policy and payment advocacy.

Cindy provides assistance to osteopathic physicians and their practices on issues impacting the daily operations of their practice. She raises awareness of issues that may impact osteopathic physicians and their practices and oversees the development of member education to assist physicians. She is also responsible for establishing relationships with and vetting vendors that offers services that may enhance physician practices, adding value to member benefits.

With over 36 years working in practice management, areas of expertise include office management, meaningful use and ICD-10 implementation.

Kavin is a certified processional coder with extensive experience as a coder in the ambulatory office setting. Kavin assists physicians with coding and audit support, in addition to assisting with resolving payment policy disputes with carriers.

Areas of expertise include CPT coding, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, auditing, documentation and payment resolution.
