JAOA

The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific publication produced by the American Osteopathic Association. The JAOA can be accessed at www.jaoa.osteopathic.org. If you're not a member or subscriber and would like to order a specific copy or get access to the archives, contact (800) 621-1773, ext. 8152.

AOA Research Handbook

The AOA Research Handbook establishes the guidelines for AOA funded research programs.

Manual of Policies and Procedures

The AOA Council on Research Manual of Policies and Procedures describes the methods used by the Council to administer all funded programs under their responsibility, including review and award of research grants and fellowships.

The AOA Residents Development Toolkit provides valuable resources for anyone wanting to write a grant to receive funding to do a research project, write an article for publication of the research project, and/or other items that may be of interest to a resident such as creating posters for exhibits at conferences. AOF Research Awards

The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) assumed management of the AOA Research Awards in 2006. Please consult the AOF website at www.aof.org, "Grants and Awards" for current information on making nominations for these prestigious awards.
