House Votes in Support of Single GME Accreditation System
July 19, 2014: Delegates representing the nation’s more than 104,000 osteopathic physicians (DOs) and osteopathic medical students voted today to support a decision by the AOA Board of Trustees to pursue a new, single accreditation system for graduate medical education. READ THE STATEMENT
New Policy Calls for EMR Training for Students
July 20, 2014: A resolution passed this morning calls for osteopathic medical students to practice documenting and writing notes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. July 19, 2014: In his inaugural address, President Robert S. Juhasz, DO, invited colleagues to consider the question, "What is your 'why?,'" both on a personal level and as members of the osteopathic medical profession.
