AOA Installs Norman E. Vinn, DO, as 117th President

July 20: Norman E. Vinn, DO, was installed as the AOA's 117th president this afternoon. In his inaugural address. President Vinn celebrated the resilient, collegial culture he believes is at the heart of the osteopathic medical profession and introduced a set of guiding principles for his presidency. Emergency Responders Honored for Service

July 20: George Smith, DO; Stephanie K. Barnhart, DO; Danielle A. Deines, DO; and AOA Immediate Past President Martin S. Levine, DO, were honored before the House of Delegates Saturday morning for serving as first responders in emergency situations during the past year. Read more.

July 20: In his A.T. Still Memorial Lecture this morning, Donald J. Krpan, DO, drew parallels between historical struggles faced by the osteopathic medical profession and current challenges. Dr. Krpan also outlined the biggest risks he believes the osteopathic medical profession faces today. July 19:  Executive Director John B. Crosby, JD, praised AOA President Ray E. Stowers, DO, for keeping the AOA ahead of the curve on a variety of challenging issues during his presidential year. AOA House of Delegates Convenes in Chicago

 July 19: The AOA's Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates is now in session! Over 500 representatives have gathered in Chicago to vote on numerous health care policies and elect members of the AOA's Board of Trustees. Norman E.
