OMED HELPING HANDS SERVICE PROJECT

MENTOR OF THE YEAR RECEPTION AND HONORS

This black-tie (encouraged) event, sponsored by the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF), will showcase the stars of the osteopathic medical profession. Enjoy an evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dancing.

 
AAOA FORE YOU GOLF TOURNAMENT
  
Sunday, Oct. 7, 7 a.m. (breakfast), 8 a.m. (tee time shotgun)

AOA WELCOME RECEPTION

Bringing the family to OMED this year? Send your kids to CAMP AOA! Kids ages six months through 12 years are invited to participate in age-appropriate activities, from arts and crafts projects to active games. Learn more and register.
 
 
SOMA RESIDENCY FAIR

The annual SOMA Residency Fair offers students the opportunity to network and meet with a variety of different residency programs from multiple locations and specialties.
 
 
OMED OPENING SESSION
 
Monday, Oct. 8, 8-9:30 a.m.
San Diego Convention Center
OMED's opening session will kick off Monday morning with a keynote address. Also during the session, the AOA will bestow its highest honor, the Distinguished Service Certificate, and present its George W. Northup Award. 
 
STILL FIT FOR LIFE 5K FUN RUN/WALK

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6 a.m.

Lace up your tennis shoes and join us for this annual event organized by the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association. You can choose to complete the full 5K or opt for a shorter 1.5 mile route. Visit www.advocates4dos.org for more information.
