Helping Hands Service Project

TIME: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Volunteer your time for a truly hands-on experience helping the Orlando Health and Rehabilitation Center in its effort to support children with disabilities, adults suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, disabled veterans, and Orlando’s homeless population.

The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF), in conjunction with the AOA and Hands-on Orlando, will host the event. The AOF will provide transportation, continental breakfast, refreshments and t-shirts for all participants. 

There is no cost to participate - all we ask is that you come with a smile and be ready to work. All OMED attendees, friends and families are welcome to participate!

Schedule


8 a.m.: Coach Transportation departs from the Hilton and Peabody hotels   

8:30 a.m.: Continental breakfast and orientation at the Orlando Health and Rehabilitation Center

9 a.m.: Helping- Hands Project begins 

Noon: Project is completed

12:15 p.m.: Coach transportation returns to Hilton and Peabody hotels
