Five Things You Need to Know About OMED 2015

Oct. 13, 2015:

Are you ready for OMED 2015? This year's conference features more ways than ever before to combine your CME with serious fun.

Here are five things to know before you go:

  1. Be prepared for more interactive learning, like the new Discovery Zone and Interactive Professor. This tool lets you earn CME by watching a high-resolution, 30 minute educational session on Type 2 diabetes. Interactive Professor is available Saturday, Oct. 17, through Monday, Oct. 19, in the West D Lobby, next to registration.

  2. Be the first to see the launch of the National Awareness Campaign designed to educate the public about osteopathic medicine and the unique, whole-person care DOs provide.

  3. Honor the stars of the profession at the new MVP Awards Reception to be held poolside at the Hyatt on Monday, Oct. 19.

  4. See an inspiring lineup of speakers at the General Sessions, now being held in the evening to ensure you don't miss any CME. Hear from U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, StoryCorps founder Dave Isay and New York Times journalist Anna Quindlen.

  5. Download this year's free OMED 2015 mobile app to put The DO Experience in the palm of your hand. Use the app to view the schedule, see what's trending and find your way around the Experience Zone. Search "OMED 2015" in the Apple app store or the Google Play store.

Spread the word! We can't wait to see you in Orlando.
