BOH Executive Committee Convenes

The AOA Bureau of Hospitals’ (BOH) Executive Committee convened today via conference call under the leadership of Paul LaCasse, DO, Chair.  Members heard an update on changes in Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution (OPTI) sponsorship as well as a report on GME funding, including potential cuts at the federal and state levels.  The BOH Executive Committee will hold a face-to-face meeting this fall with representatives from several AOA educational bureaus, councils and committees to encourage networking and teamwork and to add value to each group’s deliberations.  The BOH mission is to provide its member hospitals with an enhanced role in AOA policy and advocacy and better communications with colleagues and the profession.
