AOA Attends First COMP-NW White Coat Ceremony

Osteopathic representatives will attend the third of three “Dialogue on Inter-Professional Collaboration” meetings hosted by the Institute of Medicine today and tomorrow in Princeton, N.J.  The AOA is also sending representatives to speak at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest (COMP-Northwest) White Coat Ceremony tomorrow in Lebanon, Ore.  Led by Dean Clinton E. Adams, DO, COMP-Northwest aims to create "The Osteopathic Physician of the 21st Century" – competent, compassionate, and caring lifelong learners.  The first class of 100 COMP-Northwest osteopathic medical students will begin classes next month, with four-year enrollment to total 400 students in the next several years.
