Did you know…that Potsdam, Germany is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Potsdam Sanssouci?  Built in the 1740s, the palace and its gardens are the most famous creation of Prussian ruler, Frederick the Great.  Frederick named the palace Sanssouci (French for “without worries”) because he could leave the formalities of the royal court while there to pursue hobbies like music and philosophy.​
