AOA President Martin S. Levine, DO, attended the A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) Board of Trustees Fall Meeting in Kirksville today. Dr. Levine participated in discussions on ATSU’s vision of being the leading innovator in health professions education and its goal of preparing students to become superior and compassionate graduates. Later in the day, Dr. Levine joined his ATSU colleagues at the “Still-A-Bration” event to celebrate the achievements of their vision and goals. Meanwhile, President-elect Stowers continued his visit with the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society (MOMS) during its Annual Fall CME Conference where earlier today he addressed the General Members session on AOA advocacy efforts to correct the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR). After today’s events, Dr. Levine and Dr. Stowers both travelled to Chicago to attend AOA cluster committee meetings being held this weekend.
