International and Osteopathic Research Conferences

The AOA Bureau of International Osteopathic Medical Education and Affairs (BIOMEA) hosted its 13th Annual International Seminar, “Osteopathic Medicine in the Global Community.” Today’s poster session, held in collaboration with the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), focused on the international medical experiences of osteopathic students and physicians.  The AOA Research Conference commenced today and continues through Tuesday (more information to follow later this week).  The three subcommittees of the AOA Bureau on Scientific Affairs and Public Health each hosted their annual Seminars today as well on Palliative Care, Women’s Health, and Minority Health Issues, respectively.
