Media Corner Highlights DOs in the News

AOA members are being recognized in local and national news!  President Levine’s visit to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus​ was covered in an article published in the 1/20/12 Gwinnett Daily Post.  Vikas Kapil DO, MPH, was mentioned in a 1/9/12 Bloomberg.com article that discussed the possible health effects of hydraulic “fracking” for natural gas in populated areas. And Michael Adelman, DO, JD, President of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is hosting a new children's show, titled "Abracadabra," for a PBS station in West Virginia.  The show has filmed 13 episodes so far and will begin airing in spring 2012.
