Executive Committees Convene Teleconferences

The AOA Board of Trustees’ Executive Committee convened last evening under President Levine’s leadership to review actions taken at the 2012 Midyear Meeting and resulting plans being pursued by five Board education-related Task Forces established thereat.  Similarly, members of the AOA Bureau of Hospitals (BOH) Executive Committee held a teleconference on 3/14/12 under the leadership of Paul E. LaCasse, DO, Chair, in consideration of several pending issues.  The Bureau is reconsidering whether to propose a new name for the BOH and its Executive Committee. Members also discussed surveying BOH members and potential members to gauge their needs and ways the BOH can better address them.  Another discussion focused on using BOH Representatives to improve contact and collaboration with other AOA Bureaus, Councils and Committees.
