Teamwork Advances Quality Goals

AOA Trustee William J. Burke, DO, is representing the osteopathic medical profession at the Third International Fascia Research Congress, taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, on 3/28-20/12.  The Congress focuses on the latest and best research on the human fasciae.  The AOA may co-host a future Fascia Congress in a few years.  AOA staff likewise represented the profession at a meeting of the American Medical Association’s Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement, being held 3/28-29/12 in Arlington, Va. Today’s Executive Briefing provided an overview of the PCPI and its new strategic priorities.  Tomorrow’s general membership meeting is themed “National Quality Strategy: Energizing Physicains and Propelling Performance Improvement.”  ​
