Loan Repayment Opportunity for Students

The National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program has opened its application cycle to full-time students pursuing a career in primary care.  The NHSC Scholarship Program removes the burden of overwhelming educational debt, allowing studnts to pursue their passion for primary care and serving the underserved.  For each year of financial support, recipients must serve one year (minimum two years) in an NHSC-approved high-need site. Scholarship support includes tax-free payment of tuition, fees, and a monthly living stipend (taxable).  All students applying to the program must be U.S. citizens or nationals and enrolled or accepted in an eligible degree program at a U.S. accredited school in one of several health professions.  Applications are due 5/8/12.
