Grants Available to Disaster-Stricken DOs

Osteopathic physicians living in counties that have been declared federal disaster areas may apply for grants through the Osteopathic Family Relief Fund.  After several devastating storms and other events earlier this year, the following states have counties that have been declared federal disaster areas:  Oregon; Washington, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, and Tennessee.  The OFRF was established to assist DOs and osteopathic medical students whose homes and clinics were damaged in natural disasters; applications are available on Osteopathic.org.   The FEMA website contains more information on the specific counties affected in each state.
