Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists Convenes

Under the direction of Ronald Ayres, DO, Chair, the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists (BOS) has convened its Annual Meeting, taking place 4/13-15/12 in Chicago.  The BOS oversees the osteopathic certification process and includes a representative from each certifying board, which operate as subsidiaries of the AOA, on its membership.  Today’s events included a workshop for administrators and executive directors as well as an orientation session for new BOS representatives.  Many conjoint and governance committees that report to the BOS will meet tomorrow, with the official BOS Annual Meeting taking place on Sunday.  This weekend will also host a “cluster” of other AOA bureau, council and committee meetings, reports on which will follow on Monday.
