What Are YOU Doing to Promote the Profession?

The osteopathic family is also supporting NOM Week across the country.  Like students from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine did last week, the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine—Carolinas secured proclamations from the Mayor of Spartanburg as well as South Carolina Governor Nikki Paley declaring 4/15-21/12 “Osteopathic Medicine Week” in the state!  VCOM students are also conducting a health fair and a pediatrics activity to spread the word about osteopathic medicine. AOA staff members meanwhile hosted a Kick-off Popcorn Party in the lobby of our headquarters today to celebrate NOM Week and tell renters and guests in our building about our great profession.  What are you doing to celebrate NOM Week?  Share your event details and photos on the AOA’s Facebook page or Tweet to us using the #NOMWeek hashtag.  I can attest—the popcorn was great!
