President-elect Attends TOMA Convention

AOA President-elect Ray E. Stowers, DO, is in his home “Volunteer State” today attending the Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association’s (TOMA) 114th Annual Convention and Scientific Seminar, which is taking place 4/25-29/12 in Gatlinburg.  President-elect Stowers participated in the Spring Board of Directors Meeting this morning to provide TOMA leaders with a brief update on recent AOA activities and advocacy.  He will also attend tonight’s TOMA Leadership Dinner.  Tomorrow President-elect Stowers will give remarks at the TOMA Annual Membership meeting to over 170 expected attendees, including 70 osteopathic medical students from the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, of which Dr. Stowers is Dean.
