More Member and Group Achievements

Following a great report yesterday, I would like to recognize several additional achievements by our members and member organizations:

  • The Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine received the top award from Community Health Clinic in Chicago, the Visionary Award, during a gala at the Harold Washington Library on 4/28/12.
  • The Providence Medical Group, to which BOFHP Member Paul Martin, DO, belongs, became Dayton, Ohio’s first large-scale Patient-Centered Medical Home
  • The Chino Valley Medical Center (James M. Lally, DO, is President and CEO) was named a “100 Top Hospital” by Thompson Reuters.
  • U.S. Surgeon General (and AOA member!) Regina M. Benjamin, MD, received the 12th Annual Wenger Award for Excellence in Public Service from WomenHeart, the national coalition for women with heart disease, in honor of her outstanding contributions to women’s heart health.
