AOA Nominates Two Outstanding DOs to USPSTF

Speaking of the USPSTF, President Levine wrote to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on 5/2/12 to nominate Gregory James, DO, MPH, and Howard S. Teitelbaum, DO, PhD, MPH, to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) for panel openings in 2013.  Dr. James is the Medical Director for United Healthcare in the State of Florida, and Dr. Teitelbaum is a Chair and Professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Medicine at the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Both Dr. James and Dr. Teitelbaum would make outstanding contributions to the important work of the Task Force in recommending evidence-based best practices for clinical preventive services.  Good luck to both distinguished AOA members!
