Scientific Affairs Bureau Convenes

The AOA Bureau on Scientific Affairs and Public Health (BSAPH) convened via conference call on 5/3/12 under the leadership of Melicien Tettambel, DO, Chair, to review draft resolutions for submission to the AOA House of Delegates in July.  The Bureau focused its discussions on advocacy for DO representation on the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, AOA obesity initiatives, and revisions to the A/2011 Narco-Terrorism resolution.  In other meeting news, the joint AOA-American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine’s Blue Ribbon Commission met this afternoon, co-chaired by AOA Trustee Boyd R. Buser, DO, to continue planning for the 6/10-12/12 BRC Meeting.
