Trustees attend Iowa & Indiana Conventions

AOA Trustee James Dearing, DO, represented the AOA at the Indiana Osteopathic Association's (IOA) 115th Annual Convention and CME Program, which was held 5/4-6/12 in Indianapolis.  On Saturday, Dr. Dearing gave an address at the IOA Presidents Luncheon to the 150+ attendees on President Levine's “Think Osteopathically” theme before helping to install the incoming slate of IOA officers, including 2012-12 President Chris Lowery, DO.  Dr. Dearing also participated in the Advocates for the IOA’s Dinner and Silent Auction later that night.  Similarly, AOA Trustee Robert S. Juhasz, DO, attended the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association's (IOMA) Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference on 5/3-6/12 in Des Moines. The highlight of his participation was a keynote speech on the "State of Health Care" to the 160+ anticipated attendees at the Conference.  He then installed Conway Chin, DO, as the new IOMA President.
