  • Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, has been recognized as one of Thomson Reuters’ “Top 100 Hospitals” in the Major Teaching Hospital category for the third year in a row.  This award recognizes hospitals which “demonstrate that high quality patient outcomes can be achieved while improving efficiency.”  AOA Trustee William J. Burke, DO, serves as Vice President of Medical Education at Doctors Hospital. 
  • William T. Betz, DO, MBA, Senior Associate Dean for Osteopathic Medical Education at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Advisory Committee on Training in Primary Care Medicine and Dentistry of the Health Resources and Services Administration.​
