Strategic Planning and Budgeting Underway

The AOA Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) convened a conference call on 5/7/12 under the leadership of AOA Trustee Robert S. Juhasz, DO, Chair, to continue oversight of our progress on the AOA Strategic Plan 2011-13, development of the Strategic Plan 2014-16, and discussion of how “strategic budgeting” can assist and enable reaching our strategic goals.  The SPC and staff will be collecting data to create a new Environmental Analysis, which is a report on the demographics and current state of the osteopathic medical profession.  The SPC also created “Strategic Thinking and Planning (STAR)” award to recognize affiliates who are vital in the AOA strategic planning process.  Recommendations from the SPC to the Finance Committee on the budget for FY2012-14 were also adopted on the call.
