President Levine Attends AOCOO-HNS Assembly

AOA President Martin S. Levine, DO, is attending the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery’s (AOCOO-HNS) 96th Annual Clinical Assembly of the AOCOO-HNS Foundation, taking place 5/9-13/12 in Palm Springs, Calif. President Levine served as the keynote speaker at this morning’s session, addressing the 450 expected attendees about “thinking osteopathically.” He also summarized AOA efforts to increase OGME training capacity, grow the number of training opportunities in AOCOO-HNS specialties, recent advocacy efforts, and ways for AOCOO-HNS members to get involved in addressing the issues the profession faces today.  The AOCOO-HNS has over almost 2,000 members, including many resident and student members, including AOA Past President Carlo J. DiMarco, DO, who was on hand.
