  • Rear Admiral Joyce Johnson, DO, MA (USPHS-Ret.) writes a monthly column, “Ask the Doctor,” in Military Officer magazine – the magazine of the Military Officers Association of America, which has over 370,000 members.
  • The Des Moines University, home to a College of Osteopathic Medicine, made the 5/27/12 Des Moines Register for hosting former Surgeon General David Satcher, MD, as commencement speaker for the University’s recent graduation ceremonies.  
  • Stanley Grogg, DO, and his wife were profiled in a 5/23/12 Fox23.com news story about their efforts, as part of a team of 15 volunteers from Tulsa, Okla., to help rebuild Joplin, Mo., after last year’s devastating tornado.
