AOA Featured in Politico PULSE

The AOA was featured in a 5/25/12 Politico “PULSE” newsletter for our advocacy to reform Medicare physician payment.  The AOA wrote to the U.S. House of Representatives’ Ways & Means Committee last week to provide our recommendations on Medicare physician payment in response to a request sent to physician organizations by Committee Republicans.  As did the AOA letter, several other major physician groups, including the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association, asked the Committee to keep intact core parts of the health care law needed to transition from Medicare’s current SGR formula to a more modern system that rewards efficient, high quality care.
