AOA-Supported Group Releases Health Data

The CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has released new data on 15 health measures based on information from the National Health Interview Survey.  The report provides charts, graphs, and tables on a number of health statistics, including the lack of health insurance coverage, usual places to go for medical care, receipt of influenza vaccination, receipt of pneumococcal vaccination, obesity, leisure-time physical activity, smoking, alcohol consumption, HIV testing, personal care needs, serious psychological distress, diagnosed diabetes, and asthma episodes.  The AOA is a member of the Friends of the NCHS, the Nation’s principal health statistics agency.
