Share Your International Research

Have you conducted research or taken part in medical work abroad? Sharing your experience with the osteopathic family could win you a monetary award! During the AOA’s Osteopathic Medical Conference & Exposition, known as OMED 2012, osteopathic medical students can participate in a poster session and competition as part of the AOA Bureau on International Osteopathic Medical Education and Affairs' 14th Annual International Seminar, “Osteopathic Medicine: Hands-on Care Worldwide.”  Held on 10/7/12, the poster session is open to all students, although the competition will include only members of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association. Submit an abstract for the poster session on Osteopathic.org (select “BIOMEA/SOMA” from the dropdown menu) by 8/24/12. Osteopathic medical students receive free registration to OMED 2012, taking place 10/7- 11/12 in San Diego. Register today!
