AOA BCCs Convene During Annual Meeting

The AOA Committee on Basic Documents and Operations of Affiliate Organizations convened today under the leadership of AOA Trustee Michael K. Murphy, DO, Chair.  The Committee approved revisions to the Bylaws of two osteopathic state associations and acted on two pending requests pertaining to AOA naming guidelines for certain osteopathic specialty colleges.  In other governance news, the AOA Committee on Administrative Personnel, led by Dr. Wickless, met to review the AOA staff 401(k) plan, our efforts to fill vacant positions, and future staffing needs to carry out the strategic plan. Likewise, the Board Appeal Committee briefly met, during which AOA Trustee Carol L. Monson, DO, Chair, led deliberations on one appeal of a certification board decision.
