Bylaws & Constitution Subcommittee Teleconference

AOA Trustee Joseph A. Giaimo, DO, led a meeting of the AOA Committee on Governance and Organizational Structure’s Subcommittee on Constitution and Bylaws (SCB), of which he is Chair, on 2/24/11.  SCB members discussed several proposed changes to AOA operations that would require alterations to our Constitution and/or Bylaws, including the makeup of the AOA Board of Trustees’ Executive Committee and CME requirements for members.  The Subcommittee also conducted its annual review of the AOA Administrative Guide and directed staff to prepare amendments for the Board’s consideration at the Annual Meeting in July.  AOA Trustees Mark A. Baker, DO, William S. Mayo, DO, and Robert S. Juhasz, DO, along with Vice Speaker of the AOA House of Delegates Ray L. Morrison, DO, joined us on the call.
