Medical Educators Hold AOA Conference Call

The AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Medical Educators (BOME) convened via conference call today under the leadership of Susan C. Zonia, PhD, Chair.  The BOME adopted a new mission that focuses its efforts on providing the AOA with recommendations and assistance on assessments and outcomes analyses throughout the continuum of osteopathic medical education.  During today’s call, the BOME reviewed medical education objectives in the AOA Strategic Plan 2011-13 (see item #5 below for more information on the Strategic Plan).  Members agreed to review and prioritize a list of potential BOME projects within the context of these objectives to best provide value to the AOA and the osteopathic profession.
