President Nichols Visits ATSU-KCOM Students

AOA President Karen J. Nichols, DO, is in the “Show Me State” today on the campus of the A.T. Still University of Health Sciences-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) for several events with osteopathic medical students and faculty at the school.  Last evening President Nichols had dinner with student leaders to discuss issues of concern to osteopathic medical students.  This morning she toured the ATSU-KCOM campus with faculty before giving a presentation to first- and second-year osteopathic medical students about what it means to be a member of the AOA official family.  The ATSU-KCOM has 177 first-year students and 702 students overall; 48% of their 2009 graduates are pursuing OGME training programs.
