I participated in three conference calls this week that united teams of health care leaders to work together on mutual goals:
- The Maintenance of Licensure (MOL) CEO Advisory Council convened on 4/9/12. Composed of leadership from the FSMB, NBOME, NBME, AOA, and other educational bodies, the call discussed avenues for collaboration in the advancement of MOL pilot projects.
- Relatedly, the MOL Pilot Collaboration Pentalateral group, which includes the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, likewise met via conference call on 4/9/12, during which representatives continued work to establish MOL pilot projects in several markets across the country.
- The AQA Quality Alliance Steering Group met yesterday in its ongoing work to determine how to most effectively and efficiently improve physician-level performance measurement, data aggregation, and reporting. DOs can do just that by using CAP—the AOA Clinical Assessment Program!
