AOA Will Aggressively Protect Access to GME

I used my column in this month's The DO to draw attention to a crisis facing the osteopathic medical profession---the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's proposed Common Program Requirements that would limit the ability of DOs to enter ACGME residency and fellowship programs.  My video column reflects the urgency with which the AOA views this potentially devastating proposal and pledges that we will ‘aggressively’ pursue options to ensure DOs’ access to ACGME training.  The May 2012 The DO table of contents contains this video as well as timely, interesting articles about the most relevant issues facing our profession and our 78,000 DOs.
