Call for Volunteers for Medical Mission to Haiti

DOCARE International has issued a call for volunteers for an upcoming mission to Haiti. The mission will take place 12/4- 12/10 at the Port au Prince Hospital de Notre Dame and in three outlying villages.  The mission’s objective will be to treat the poorest of Haitians in both clinical and rural settings, with the most-needed care being in pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, and infectious diseases.  Nicholas J. Palermo, DO, is serving as Director and Chief Medical Officer for the mission.  All interested volunteers can visit DOCAREIntl.org to fill out application forms, which are due on 11/20/10.  http://www.docareintl.org/haiti.html
