Free IOMS and CIR Event for Postdocs

The Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society and the AOA Council of Interns and Residents would like to invite DOs in postdoctoral training to participate in a free event, "Practice Management Pearls for Postgraduates: Or, What I Wish I’d Known Before I Graduated from Residency."  Taking place at AOA Headquarters in Chicago on Saturday, 4/14/12, the resident “Pearls” to be covered include how to find and apply for positions; contract negotiation; how physician salaries are determined; the board certification process; obtaining/keeping licenses & medical staff privileges; and much more.  Space is limited, so advance registration is required.  However, a call-in option is available for DOs who cannot attend in person.  View the program information.  Contact IOMS to register or to inquire about the call-in option by 4/8/12.  For more upcoming events, keep reading.
