Advocacy in Response to Forbes Blog Post

​AOA President Karen J. Nichols, DO, on 10/28/10 posted in response on the AOA President’s Blog to a Forbes.com article authored by blogger Steven Salzberg that was highly inaccurate and insulting to DOs.  President Nichols demanded a retraction from Mr. Salzberg of the many incorrect “facts” he reported and attempted to educate him on the current status of osteopathic medicine.  Read President Nichols’ blog post, and her letter to Mr. Salzberg, on the AOA President’s Blog​.  Many osteopathic advocates are also posting their own comments to the disparaging post, which I encourage everyone to do to advocate that the osteopathic medical profession be portrayed accurately and fairly.
